Behind the scenes....
As the Chinese saying goes, "tai shang san fen zhong, tai xia shi nian gong" (to be on stage for 3 minutes, one
may have to practice for 10 years). Every performance is a lot of effort. But because dancers in Dance Synergy are fun-loving,
and we all have a passion for dance, despite the hard word, we had a lot of fun going through one performance after another
as one..... Synergy...Woosh!

"An Evening with Tchaikovsky", Dec 2001, Victoria Theatre.
- A ballet concert put up by my ballet school, Sylvia McCully School of Dancing, 6 years after the last concert, The
Sleeping Beauty.
The greatest achievement in my lifetime of ballet dancing so far is my performance in a corps de ballet
from The Nutcracker, as one of the Snowflakes. This is the first time I put on a real ballet tutu and dance on stage
with pointe shoes. Really wonder when my next performance will be........
